SPEAKERS AND POSTER PRESENTERS | ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Q: I am an invited speaker and/or session chair. How will the online format affect my role?

A: All presentations will be live-streamed and interactive at the time scheduled in the programme. All speakers and session chairs will be briefed by the conference organisers regarding the new format, use of the online platform and their role. Speakers that cannot attend their live session can provide a recorded video presentation although live participation is encouraged to facilitate Q&A.

Please contact the Conference Content Executive (Please do not email credit card information under any circumstances) with any questions.

Q: I submitted an abstract to the in-person meeting: What happens now?

If the abstract is currently being reviewed, you will be notified no later than the author notification deadline regarding acceptance.

If your abstract has already been accepted, you are invited to present the same presentation format (talk / poster) within the online programme. You will be contacted with information and presentation guidelines by our Conference Content Executive in due course.

Q: If my abstract is accepted do I need to attend?

A: At least one author of the accepted abstract must attend the meeting to present your work and answer questions. Only talks and posters of registered participants will be scheduled in the programme.

If it is difficult to attend in person due to the difference in time zones authors may submit a recorded video presentation for the live stream although live participate is encouraged to facilitate Q&A.

Q: Can I update my original abstract?

A: Yes: please contact our Conference Content Executive (Please do not email credit card information under any circumstances) regarding any essential revisions.
